L’International Film Music Critics Association vient de dévoiler ses nominations en vue de distinguer les meilleurs compositeurs et partitions de 2020. Et si on se souvient que nos français avaient fait le plein lors de l’édition de l’année passée avec plus d’une dizaine d’entrées, nous ne pourrons cette fois compter que sur celles de deux routards des palmarès : Bruno Coulais, nommé dans la catégorie Meilleure Partition pour un Film d’Animation grâce à son travail pour Wolfwalkers (Le Peuple Loup), et Alexandre Desplat, nommé dans la catégorie Meilleure Partition pour un Film de Fantasy / SF / Horreur grâce à sa nouvelle collaboration avec son complice George Clooney, The Midnight Sky. La proclamation des résultats du vote final est prévue le 18 février prochain.
