La Society Of Composers And Lyricists (SCL) a procédé aux toutes premières remises de prix de son histoire ce mardi 7 janvier lors d’une cérémonie au Skirball Cultural Center de Los Angeles et c’est à nouveau la compositrice islandaise Hildur Guðnadóttir qui a été particulièrement distinguée, deux jours après avoir remporté son premier Golden Globe. Elle obtient ainsi les prix dans les catégories Meilleure Musique pour un Film de Studio avec Joker et Meilleure Musique pour une Production Télévisuelle avec Chernobyl. Un prix d’honneur a par ailleurs été décerné au tandem compositeur-réalisateur formé par Thomas Newman et Sam Mendes et dont la collaboration s’est récemment enrichie d’un sixième film, 1917.
