Comme à l’habitude à cette période et pour la quatorzième édition consécutive, l’International Film Music Critics Association (IFMCA) vient de rendre publiques ses nominations pour l’année 2017. Et une fois encore, nous serons particulièrement attentif au parcours des compositeurs français retenus : l’incontournable Alexandre Desplat bien entendu, dont les partitions pour Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets (Valérian et la Cité des Mille Planètes) et surtout The Shape Of Water (La Forme de l’Eau) lui apportent quatre nominations (dont celle du Meilleur Compositeur), mais aussi, et cela nous ravit particulièrement, Cyrille Aufort qui voit son beau travail pour Knock retenu dans la catégorie Meilleure Partition pour une comédie et Olivier Derivière qui place joliment lui aussi son Get Even parmi les finalistes de la catégorie Meilleure Partition pour un jeu vidéo.
