This coming Wednesday (05/09/2012) BSX Records will be announcing the release of two new titles!
The first is a brand new recording of one of the most controversial synthesizer scores of the 1980's.
Rather than trying to recreate the sound of the original, we elected to take advantage of over two decades of advances in synthesizer and sample technology to create a new recording, that while true... to the spirit of the original, has a more expansive sound and an organic flavor to it.
This title will be limited to a 1000 unit release. The first 100 copies purchased through the BSX website will be autographed by the very talented artist who produced it for BSX.
The second title is a classic original soundtrack recording from the early 1980s, full of action, adventure, sword wielding heroes, a very scantily dressed heroine, a little bit of the ole' black magic and more than a bit of slime.
This title appeared once before on compact disc in the 1990s but is hard too find now. The music has been remastered and this new presentation of the music will make fans of the film score very happy.
This title will be limited to 1000 units. Sadly, the composer is no longer with us, so this one won't be autographed.
