En écoutant Memoirs of a Geisha, j'ai songé que la musique de film avait finalement elle aussi ses oeuvres concertantes, et que c'est peut-être aussi dans la BO qu'on peut rechercher des morceaux d'anthologie pour tel ou tel instrument. Avec aussi l'idée, derrière, qu'un novice en musique peut découvrir certains instruments en écoutant des BO (pratique pour faire découvrir l'orchestre à des personnes réticentes face aux oeuvres classiques, ce que, parfois, on peut comprendre).
Du coup, il m'est venu l'idée de créer un topic où l'on pourrait recenser quelques utilisations fameuses d'instruments - très connus ou plus exotiques - dans la musique de film, en donnant le nom de l'instrument (éventuellement du soliste, s'il est réputé), la BO et le ou les morceaux les plus marquants.
Il ne s'agit pas, bien sûr, de recenser toutes les utilisations, mais celles que vous jugez les plus belles, marquantes, intéressantes ou influentes (comme c'est le cas de Gladiator et du duduk). Un best of, en quelque sorte.
